Kristin Fisher has joined CNN in July 2021, as the network's Space and Defense Correspondent. As an official for the Space and Defense Department, Kristin Fisher covers all aspects of space including NASA to the recently formed Space Force as well as commercial space companies as well as space tourism. Kristin was raised in the field of space as the grandchild and daughter of NASA astronauts. Over the last five years she's covered space policies under Trump and Biden Administrations in FOX News. In that period, Kristin also reported on impeachment hearings for President Trump, the 2020 Presidential campaign and efforts by two administrations to control the Coronavirus Pandemic. Her extensive travels with the Vice President and the President included an official trip to Afghanistan and Afghanistan, which she travelled on along with Donald Trump. Kristin was a TV local reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., in which she was awarded the Emmy Award for her work as a "one-man-band" reporter before becoming a reporter for CBS in the year 2015. Kristin's expertise as a camerawoman led her to found Field Mouse Films which specialized in making documentaries for clients of corporate nature, like Uber Hotels & Resorts, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism which she earned from Boston University. Kristin is married with a daughter, and their 3-year-old daughter in Washington, D.C.
